The natural plant materials are transformed through distillation into essential oils. This process has been used for thousands of years.
Nowadays you can see aromatherapy essential oils sold everywhere. Their uses vary from infusions to sweet smells and bring the environment into a harmonizing space.
But there are other uses and aromatherapists use essential oils to accompany their massage treatment for therapeutic purposes and as compresses to aid in the healing process of stressful conditions.
In this aroma taster workshop we aim to give you a taster of what is included in the full accredited diploma course in aromatherapy and incorporates massage techniques.
Introductory to History of Aromatherapy, Botany of the plants, Chemistry of the essential oils, Massage and Touch.
We will look at one essential oil.
