The Professional Aromatherapist is a caring professional and works in the capacity to aid stress related symptoms such as  aches and pains in the muscles and joints and several other related conditions for the every day working person, parents,  elderly, children, pregnancy, the business person,  singles and many other walks of life.
 
The Unified Aromatherapy Training is running the next Professional Aromatherapy course in modules due to commence in 2012.
Meanwhile we have ongoingTaster workshops in London and in Farnham on Mondays.
 
 
Many beauticians, physiotherapists and nurses train in Aromatherapy to add to their practice. 
Professional Aromatherapists work in a range of places such as salons, spas, hospices, hospitals and clinics and their own private practice.   
 
The Professional Aromatherapy Diploma
 
with IFA Accredited Teachers
 
32 days at the college which is the equivalent of 18 months.
Training days are every second Monday.
 
plus 430 Self Study hours which include portfolio, assignments, projects and case studies.
 
Examinations are separate.
 
The training is divided into 4 parts plus Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology
 
Students must be over 18 years old at start of training
 
Have an adequate level of written and spoken English.
 
Have sufficient ability to perform the massage techniques listed in the syllabusHave IFA student membership within 4 weeks of starting the course.
 
Have student insurance (professional indemnity and public liability) within 4 weeks of the course)
 
Students must attend 80% of the course to qualify for entry to the IFA external examination.

Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
If you already have your Anatomy and Physiology then 6 days will be exempt plus self study of 100 hours.
 
Pathology is 2 days plus 50 hours of self study.
